Myself and Will Elliott (Lead Automotive Artist) were fortunate enough to attend the Frankfurt Motor Show (pushing to become the biggest motor show in the world) on the 17th and 18th September, and it did not disappoint!
Launches that stood out were the Bentley Bentayga, Bentley’s brilliant introduction in to the SUV market with this super-luxury and super-fast 4X4 and in the same sector (albeit a slightly different price bracket!) the all new terrain Jaguar F-Pace SUV. Bugatti’s Vision Gran Turismo concept car inevitably turned a few heads, as did the smaller premium cars such as the Alfa Romeo Giulia (Italy’s answer to the 3 Series) and the Infiniti Q30 (upmarket hatchback).
German manufacturers inevitably dominated the show with the likes of Mercedes, BMW and Audi leading the charge on this – no expense spared!
Finally, in terms of virtual reality driving experiences the likes of Volkswagen, BMW , Lexus, Peugeot and Hyundai were just some of the manufacturers who put their best foot forward, with perhaps the latter winning the prize for being the most physical!
Looking forward to what next year has to offer!
